There is no greater adventure than diving! Interacting with the underwater world is always fascinating and exciting! Many people are curious about scuba diving and have the desire to experience and enjoy the beautiful coral reefs, colorful fish and exciting marine life.

At Big Bubble Centre (BBC), the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a BBC's PADI Instructor. You will experience an actual coral reef scuba dive in the shallow, tropical, ocean waters of Pulau Tioman, Pulau Dayang, Pulau Aur, Pulau Perhentian, Pulau Redang in Malaysia, or in Manado - Indonesia.

Your BBC's PADI Instructor will guide you on your open water dive and you may go as deep as 12 metres/40 feet (of course this depends on where you dive) Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive your PADI Discover Scuba Diving recognition card. You will be able to make additional supervised dives within two weeks of completing the entire experience. This is not a scuba certification, nor does it qualify you to scuba dive without supervision by a PADI professional.

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program is a great way to get a head start on your PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver course if you then decide to continue. That's because the skills you complete during your adventure may credit these certification levels. All you have to do is complete a Student Diver Record and Referral Form, which documents your achievement, and bring it to any PADI Dive Centre or Resort to continue where to let off.
