PADI Medic First Aid Instructor Course
The Medic First Aid Course offered by PADI is a
basic training course in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency care. It is a
medically based course designed to train students to follow, at the layman level, the same
emergency procedures and priorities used by paramedics and doctors. The skills of patient
care necessary to support the life of an ill or injured person are covered in seven
modules in which practical application and hands-on practice are emphasized. Students
learn these skills in the same sequence they would use in caring for a patient. The Medic
First Aid Instructor Course is designed to teach instructors how to organise, promote and
conduct Medic First Aid courses through PADI.
