The objective of the IDC Preparatory Course is to
fine-tune the IDC candidate's diving theory knowledge, diving skills and rescue skills,
prior to entering the IDC.
These areas not part of the IDC curriculum and will only be covered
partly through optional remedial sessions outside course hours.
Completion of IDC Preparatory Course will allow the candidate to
enter the IDC having full confidence in his/her diving knowledge and skills - and thus be
able to concentrate fully on the actual IDC curriculum, and therefore being much better
prepared for the instructor Examination.
The course includes a complete review of diving theory and
extensive practice of diving and rescue skills.
