PADI IDC Staff Instructor Course
The purpose of the IDC Staff Instructor course is
to train qualified PADI instructor Members as staff for IDCs. The training of IDC Staff
Instructors involves four modules: 1) a preassessment of candidate knowledge , waterskills
and teaching ability, 2) an orientation to PADI IDC policies, procedures and philosophy,
3) training of the candidate in the skills of objective evaluation, and 4) auditing a
complete IDC.
- be a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor or higher, in
Teaching Status
- hold a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating
- have certified at least 25 individuals as PADI divers
- Approved medical scuba diving examination (within last 12
months)
